Who this day is for
This workshop suits self-directed traders and market students who understand candles, support, and resistance but lack a consistent method for identifying trend. It assumes no coding and does not teach order execution, leverage, options, or security selection.
What is included
We compare simple and exponential moving averages, examine slope and compression, and combine price position with swing highs and lows. The working session covers:
- choosing an average for a stated purpose rather than chasing a “best” period;
- distinguishing trend, transition, and range conditions;
- filtering crosses that occur inside congestion;
- planning pullback observations and invalidation points;
- recording a rule set that can be reviewed after the workshop.
Printed chart packs, annotation sheets, pencils, refreshments, and a digital review workbook are supplied. Market data subscriptions and trading accounts are not required.
How the workshop runs
The morning begins with hand-marked historical examples. After lunch, participants work through unseen charts individually, explain classifications to the group, and revise ambiguous rules. The final hour is reserved for assembling a one-page trend-filter checklist.
Bring a notebook and, if useful, three anonymised charts that have caused confusion. Please do not bring account statements or personal financial records.
Boundaries and preparation
Kernel Syncpoint provides education, not personalised financial advice, trade signals, or performance promises. Examples include equities, indices, and liquid currency pairs solely to compare chart behaviour. Learners must be 18 or older.
Places are limited to six so every participant receives chart feedback. Request a place through the enquiry form; we confirm suitability and the available date before any payment arrangement.
